1)
What time is check-in and check-out?
You can come to check in, leave your luggage, use
the common facilities, get the keys, arrange payment from /
after 9 am in the morning, you will get your room as soon it
is ready, which is usually by 12 midday or earlier / later
depending on how many arrival we have that day.
Check out time is 10 am after your last night stay.
(Late check out possible on request base in advance only).

Do you provide a map of Budapest?
Yes! We provide guests with a free customized map
of Budapest full of great helpful information and recommendations
of our favourite places to eat, shop, sightsee, and more.

What is included in the price?
Taxes, bed linens, towels(on request base only!)
and all the free services as Internet, wifi, laundry, maps,
luggage storage (in common space only)

What methods of payment does Amigo Panorama accept and when
shall I pay?
You may pay cash Euro or Hungarian Forints at our
daily selling exchange rates. You may better business if you
pay in the currency (HUF or EUR possible only) you have been
confirmed with.
You can pay ONLY CASH and at your arrival (check
in)! We do not have credit card debiting facilities and we
insist on payment at arrival as we do not have permanent reception
at place! (sorry for that inconvenience, but we try to save
money to give them further to you when having a cheaper room).

Are all the rooms with panorama and balcony?
We have several private
rooms, most of them have balcony
and panoramic view from different angles to different
places in town. You can see the famous Károly avenue
and surrounding from almost all the
rooms.

Does Amigo Panorama offer breakfast?
No, but we will offer to you a place at the basement
of our house where you can have good, inexpensive breakfast
(Discounts for Amigo Panorama guests: tell them you are staying
at us!)

How safe and secure is Amigo - Panorama?
We have several private rooms, you will have private
key for the house gate, entrance door, your room. The house
is secure (with proxy entering system).

If we are traveling as a small group, can we stay together
in the same room or 2-3 rooms one by the other?
If you wish to stay together with friends, then
it is best to book private room(s) at one time and inform us
that you are coming together. We will do our best for you to
be close one by the other, but in case of small availability,
we can not promise it. Anyway, most of the rooms are very close
to each other¸ this can not be a problem.

Is there a place to eat, cook, have drinks in Amigo - Panorama?
We have a modern, luxury designed and well-equipped
cooking-ready kitchen with big refrigerator, dish-washing machine,
gas-electricity fireplace. We have dining table for 4 persons
and 3 chair bar pult where you can also sit. You can use our
other common space as well where few more persons can take
a seat.

Can in Amigo - Panorama fax my reservation confirmation to
the Embassy so that I can apply for a visa?
Yes. If you will require a letter of confirmation
of your reservation with company stamp and signature in order
to apply for a visa, please allow up to 3 days time for us
to prepare this document. This is a free service, however we
do require a full non-refundable bank transfer prepayment of
your accommodation by a certain deadline.

14) Do you accept groups?
We welcome
only small, upto 8-9
persons groups who can and promise to behave
well in the hostel and close surrounding.
If you have bigger group, we have another hostel where we can

How close is Amigo - Panorama to Budapest's main attractions?
We are at walking distance from the next popular
sights for Budapest
- Synagogue: 50 m., 1 min. walk
- Astoria square: 150 m. 2 min. walk.
- Deak square: 250 m.: 4 min. walk
- Váci str, Danube bend view to Budacastle and Gelleért
hill: 700-800 m: 5-7 min. walk
- Opera house, Liszt Ferenc square: 700-800 m: 5-7 min.

- Parliament: 1-1,2 km: 10-12 min. walk
From the close Deák square you can catch:
- bus No. 16 which will take you to Buda castle,
- the yellow underground to Heroes sq. / City park / Szécsényi

Where is the closest parking garage to Amigo - Panorama?
You can park on the street: free at the weekends
ONLY (from Friday late evening to early Monday morning only,
at weekdays you can stay only 2 hours and have to pay at the
cash machine for that!). Do not park where a yellow line is
put by the sidewalk. You can also find guarded paid parking
in Dohány str.
Nearest parking:
VII. ker. Rumbach Sebestyen str. 8, 3,500HUF/24h (7-20h: 2,500HUF
+ 20-7h: 1,500HUF)
At 2 min. walk from the guesthouse.
Cheapest parking in the near:

Can I make a reservation if I do not have a credit card?
Yes. You can make e-mail reservation as well. For

Is there Internet access at Amigo - Panorama?
Yes. We have free wifi and you can use our computer
free of charge (for Internet and e-mail). We would like you
to reconsider that other people may also want to use the computer,
in that case I would kindly ask you to give them way after
max. 30 min. of using (you can come back later when nobody
is in the line).

Is Amigo - Panorama non-smoking?
Yes. All of Amigo - Panorama facilities: rooms,
bathrooms are non-smoking. Smoking in place is strictly prohibited.
You can smoke at the balconies or in case you do not have one,
at the entrance door outside.

Does Amigo - Panorama provide towels?
We can provide small size towels only and on request
base at your arrival. The towels are free of charge for use
only, but be sure to leave then in place at check out (so they
are not free for taking them away)

Can I wash my clothes at the hostel?
Yes. We have washing machine in one of the bathrooms.
Please ask our receptionist to explain to you how to use the
washing machine and harmonize your washing with the hostel
washing of bed linen (we would like to ask you to give priority
to the hostel’s washings and also wash by day only)

Does Amigo - Panorama offer an international phone for guests
to use?
As we do not keep reception, there is no local
phone at place. You can reach or be reachable though on the
internet using skype, msn. Please advise your relatives, friends
to try to reach you directly, our phone for bookings is not
at place and we do not offer message forwarding services.

I have heard that you do not keep all day reception. Will somebody
be waiting for me at my arrival?
We really do not keep all day reception at place,
that is why you shall give us your expected arrival time, advise
us if it changes. It is very useful if you give us your live
mobile phone (with inter. codes please!) we can contact if
anything. We kindly ask you to inform us if early or expectedly
late by more than 1 hour to your latest advised arrival time,
please call / or sms us* (Phone: +36-20-332-6322), but do not
worry, the room is yours no mater how late are you. *Please
sms by day only, otherwise call!

What happens if I book and can not arrive at all? How can I
cancel a booking, what are the conditions?
We will kindly ask you to book us only in case
your arrival seems to be absolutely sure (you have the airplane,
train, bus tickets, your car is in order, you got your leave
from work, spoke over your holiday with your friends coming
along with you…). Anyway if any kind of changes to your
booking after done (modification, canceling, another room needed,
plus / less persons coming): the most important: please advise
us by e-mail about that (in case we do not reply in 48h at
the latest, please call, we have not received your mail then
(it happens very rarely, but is is possible at all).

Are there any discounts (i.e. long stay) for staying at Amigo
- Panorama?
We offer long stay (5 to 20%), weekday stay (5
to 10%), group (5 to 20%), in-advance-booking (5 to 15%) discounts.
If you feel you are entitled for discount, please write us
an e-mail with your inquiry requesting the discount.
We have already discounted prices at some portals
or in case of booking us online at our booking engine: so you
for sure do better business booking us online!
